  Despite completing a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in environmental management and tourism, LISA BENHAM has thus far forgone the option of a "day job "and continues to pursue her career in theatre. She currently works for Disney on "The Lion King" where she is a follow spot and swing lighting board operator. Her design credits include the musicals "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Gypsy" for Out of the Blue productions, "Dido & Aeneas" at the Riverside Theatre, "Dancing at Lughnasa" for Hunters Hill Theatre Co. and for The Tall Poppeas' productions of "Troppo Amore" at the Mittagong Playhouse and Darlinghurst Theatre.

   

  Originally from the UK, KATE SHANAHAN has worked with The Shakespeare Globe, London Contemporary School of Dance and The Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.  In Sydney, Kate has designed "As You Like It" and "Julius Caesar" for Fly On The Wall Productions, "Maze" for Ashfield Youth Theatre, "Macbett" for Exposure Productions, "Vatzlav" for Nuts at UNSW winning the costume design award, "Troppo Amore" for The Tall Poppeas, costumes for "Richard III" at The New Theatre, "Kick the Bucket" with Shagging Julie, as well as event design for the Live Bait Festival at Bondi, and the Gav and Shaun Tent for The Royal Easter Show. Kate works extensively with Pact Youth Theatre, costume designing for "Altered States" and designing "Crime Site" and "Song of Ghosts". Upcoming is wardrobe management  for the musical "South Pacific" at The Theatre Royal, and next year collaborating with Martin Del Amo on "Conditions Apply" at Pact.

  FIONA GARLICK is recognised as being one of Australia's foremost authorities on historical dance. With a background in classical ballet, fine arts and a PhD in French Court Dance and its music under Louis XIV, Fiona has special expertise in the reconstruction and performance of dances from the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries. She is artistic director of the Early Dance Consort, a company specialising in the performance and tuition of early European court dance. Fiona has choreographed and performed for many leading Australian early instrumental ensembles including Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, Australian Chamber Orchestra, Ensemble of the Golden Age, Musica da Camera, The Musicke, Pastance, the Renaissance Players and most recently, The Marais Project. She has also presented papers and lectures on early dance and related subjects around Australia and Hong Kong.

  DANIEL MILLAR began his career in multimedia after completing a certificate in Digital Arts and Media at Nepean College of Art and Design. Since that time, he has been working as a freelance Media Designer in the field of video, animation and graphic design. Recently, Daniel worked as a video editor for the ABC's infamous Double The Fist program, chief camera operator on Channel 31's Movie Show, directed music videos for Nidis, King Curly and Little More Than You as well as designing logos and graphics for cafe's and retail outlets. As well as this, Daniel has also worked as a cartoonist and illustrator. This year Daniel completed his first feature film, The Nightwatchmen, as a writer/director and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Visual Media Production at Macquarie University.

  SUSAN CARVETH has worked in theatre, television and opera as a costume designer, maker and co-ordinator. She was costume co-ordinator on "Every Man For Herself", "Conferenceville" and "Patrol Boat" for the ABC and was wardrobe co-ordinator for the Australian Opera. For the Genesian Theatre Company in Sydney, Susan has designed and made costumes for its productions of "An Ideal Husband", "Kindertransport", Dinkum Assorted, "Saturday Morning Monday", "Summer of the Seventeenth Doll", "Lipstick Dreams", "A Midsummer Night's Dream", "I Have Five Daughters", "A Tale of Two Cities", " Scotland Road",  "The Merry Wives of Windsor", "King Lear", "Something's Afoot" and "Morning Sacrifice". Susan has also done reproduction work for costumes held at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney.
